Excellent Location Large Apartment Well furnished and stylish Kitchen and Coffee Machine Excellent Wi Fi Comfortable Bed Good Amenities
The apartment has no air conditioning and was therefore very hot. The fan was a comfort however not enough to ensure a nice temperature to sleep in. The curtains were thin and translucent so light was not blocked out. There were outside roller blinds which did not work. Even if they did work, the windows needed to stay open to control the heat. Finally, we were advised after booking to not leave any valuables in the apartment due to past break ins. While this notification is appreciated, it’s too later once the booking has been made and paid for. On arrival there was a note on the door reaffirming this issue, which resulted in us carrying all our lap top computers, iPad, phones wallets and back pack with us for two days walking the streets of Vienna. Furthermore the hallways were easily accessed by almost everyone, as opposed to many apartments we have stayed in which needs keyed access to gates to enter the complex. With the past security issues, the host needs to install more locks and beef up security.

The entire flat provided an unprecedented convenience! In the heart of Vienna- three minutes walking from Stephan's Dom and the Ubahn station! It offers a high rate of flexibility and comfort. Bed was a king size with a soft mattress and overall terrific! The cleanliness was exceptional! Coffee machine was accompanied by free capsules to enjoy a nice coffee every morning. Huge wardrobe and the kitchen was fully equipped (even salt, sugar and others were provided)!! There was a bakery right downstairs (although pretty expensive and opening only during Mo-Fri) and few coffee shops across the streets as well as a super market in short distance. If I ll visit Vienna again, I ll definitely stay at the Vienna City Heart!! No discussion! Many thanks to the kind host!!
Since the building was being refurbished during our stay, the workers were super annoying given that they were ringing the bell all the time! Moreover, the fresh painting on the walls was smelly and making us a bit dizzy if we did not have the windows opened all the time- but we were lucky because the super weather during our staying was allowing this. An air conditioning system is the only thing missing from this superb flat. Furthermore, it was hard to find the building since at that street number 4 is next to number 5 instead of across the street (as it is usually in European cities). The entrance of the building was hidden inside an alley. Another minor point was the lack of enough towels since there was not a daily cleaning service.

The instruction about finding the keys is confusing. We expected a box - large key box and not such a small something stuck on the door.
